I can’t believe we are almost in Mid -August and soon to be, the end of Summer. To say that 2020 has been a crazy year would be an understatement but along with it being super crazy, it also seems to be going by so quickly.
August is, notoriously, the hottest month of the year and my work wardrobe has taken note. One way that I am trying to beat this heat while still looking professional, is by opting for great summer suits. What classifies a suit as a “Summer Suit” you ask ? Well, to me, Summer suits are made with light weight fabrics (like linen), may have shorts, cropped pants or skirts as the bottoms and comes is summery shades like white (or the salmon color I’m wearing).
Now that you get what my interpretation of a Summer Suit is, here’s I style mine. Because it’s a suit these isn’t much you have to do but add an undershirt and accessories. I love wearing bodysuits with my suits (say that 10 times fast) because you don’t have to worry about tucking in a shirt. I also like to keep my accessories chic yet simple and let the suit be the star of the show.
