It’s just a happy coincidence that I’m sharing this plaid military jacket look with you a few days before St. Patrick’s day. This was actually a look I wore for fashion week a couple of weeks ago.
I got this beautiful plaid jacket in one of my favorite little vintage shop in Montmatre, when we were in Paris last fall. I didn’t particularly know how I was going to style it because honesty, its a bit Christmasy, but I think the edginess of the all back accessories and pants really help to keep the Christmasiness to a minimum.
Beyond the cool plaid print, the gold military buttons and velvet collar really add to the flair of this jacket. Unlike my last look, one bold statement piece was enough to make a major impact.
I usually don’t have favorites but I love this detail shot. The colors and detailing behind me are just so sick!!
