Button down shirt and shorts

There is nothing more versatile to have in your wardrobe then a button down shirt. You can dress it up, you can dress it down. You can button it all the way up or you can leave some of the buttons open. The styling are limitless. I got inspiration for this look from one of Alexander Wang’s S/S 2014 runway looks. The button down shirt and shorts combo may very well be a go to of my this summer.
Enough talk about the button down shirt and short, I want to talk about la pièce de résistance in this outfit, the heels. I got these Giuseppe Zanotti sandals last year for my birthday (which by the way is only 16 days away so make your calendar for the 18th) and I can’t believe that I haven’t posted them here on the blog before. They are truly a beauty to look at but man do they work your calves. I call these my  Valet or car service shoes because they are perfect for getting pick up in front of your door, driven to dinner, walk to your seat, walk  back to the door and get picked up again. They are not good for a lot of walking. I still love them though and will wear the hell out of them this summer.
