The tittle of this post was inspired by the last two episodes of Sex in the City when Carrie went off to live in Paris with her “lova”, Alexander Petrofski(sp.) and Mr. Big came all the way to bring her back home. I love that episode, Carrie was so fabulous walking around paris and that what I picture my self doing when coming here for Paris Fashion Week.
This isn’t my first time in Paris, but it definitely gets more amazing every time I come here. The food, the people , the culture, all of it is just so amazing. I’ve been here less than two days but I don’t want to leave. I’ve gotten to eat some pretty good food and catch two shows already (review coming soon) . The only thing I’m disliking about being here is the lack of constant internet (because I can’t instagram till I’m in a Wifi area). I’m constantly, asking around to cafés to see if the have Wifi (pronounced “Wee-Fee” in French). The good thing about that is that I able to constantly practice my French. It sucks sometime be fluent and not being able to talk to anyone when I’m home.
This is the look I chose to wear to my first day here. I have been waiting to bust out this amazing vest for about two months now (snagged it at Nordstrom’s Half Yearly Sale). It is amazing and though it is faux, the fur is soft. My original idea was to wear this vest closed sans top but this Parisian weather wasn’t trying to let me be great. It all worked out in the end though because the top went well and added another great element of texture to a look that had a few different one’s already. I love mixing textures, prints and fabrics in the fall. It’s a great way to make a outfit in a particular color scheme really pop an stand out.

I have to say you prepared yourself perfectly for the visit in city of fashion!
