It’s so crazy to think that we are in August, the latter part of the year, and almost the end of Summer. To say that this Summer has been good for me would be an understatement. I’ve traveled to new places, Peru, and more familiar places, France and Italy. I had an amazing birthday and have been enjoying tons of events. I don’t want to be greedy but there are a few more things I’d like to do before bidding summer adieu. So this is my end of Summer Bucket, chock full of some pretty cool activities, I’d like to partake in before the fall.
As with every time I share these quarterly bucket lists, I hope it encourages you to make your own or at least try out some of the fun things I’m looking forward to doing.
Host a Dinner Party– I would love to host a dinner party a la Olivia Mcdowell before the end of summer or right just before fall
Go to the US Open– This one will for sure be crossed off the bucket list because I have tickets!!! I’ve always wanted to go to the US Open and, more importantly, take my Mom who is an avid tennis fan, and this year right before her birthday, taking her.
Go to a Concert – I have not been to any concerts this Summer and it honestly seems weird because I went to 3 last year. I’m hoping to either do Global Citizen and/or Childish Gambino
Visit Lavender Fields– This has got to be crossed off the list this year. It’s been on far too many times. I found this place and post fashion week, I’m determined to grab Robbie and go.
Visit The Hamptons – I can’t let the summer go by without a quick trip out east. Last year I didn’t get a chance to go and with all of my travelling and working this Summer, I still have made the trip. Maybe I’ll do the Hamptons and Lavender fi
Do More traveling – This is also a done deal haha. As I type, I’m two days away from a trip to Panama. I’ll be posting about it here.
Have a picnic in Central Park– I’ve been to Central Park a few times this summer, mostly walking the dog or for a long walk and I always see people set up and having a lovely little picnic in the park. This is definitely something I want to do before it gets too cold
Do my Fall shopping– I’m a chronic seasons shopping procrastinator. I wait unit the last minute to get pieces that I really want from my wishlist and then they end up being sold out. Well, I am determined not to let this happen this year. Along, with shopping for Fashion Week pieces, I have been adding some Fall favorites to the cart. Let’s hope I can get all the pieces I want this fall.
