Last week Monday we bid “A dieu” to summer 2019 aka Hot girl Summer, and welcomed the Fall season. Though I’m not completely ready to give up the warm weather (and neither is New York it seems), I am super excited for all of the fun activities that Fall brings.
Fall in NYC is the best and every year around this time I get overwhelmed with narrowing down all of the thing I want to do. This year I decided to make a list of some of those thing so I can cross them off as I complete them. I figure I’d share that ambition list with you guys to give you some inspiration and idea of activities you can try this fall.
- Go to the New York city Food and Wine festival – Have always wanted to go and this year might be the year
- Spend a weekend in the catskills- I want to rent a cabin with the Hubs and go hiking through the fall foliage
- Check out A Current Affairs Vintage Pop-up- Huge vintage lover and have always wanted to a get a few piece from this pop-up
- Take a walk through Central Park to see the foliage- Just another excuse to hangout in Central Park
- Try Eatly’s Serra d’Autunno Seasonal Roof Top- If you thought the summer time decorations were magical wait to you see the fall version
- Go Apple picking / Make apple cider and apple pie- I’ve actually already gone apple picking this season (see here) but wouldn’t mind going again and still need to use all of these apple up.
- Do a food crawl in Astoria- apparently Astoria has some of the best eats and I want to do a date night where we try a few of the best recommendations.
- Go to the rent the runway sample sale- This sample sale is always good and I can wait to check it out again this year
- Visit the New York Botanical Garden- I have been dying to go back to the New York Botanical Garden and since I missed the orchard show, I figured I check it out now to see the spooky pumpkin garden.
