When I saw this shirt hanging in Urban Outfitters, I knew that I wasn’t leaving that store without it. I love Sade, not only is she drop dead gorgeous but she is also one of my favorite music artists. Though I was only 10 years old when Soldier of Love came out, as I grew a little bit older, the subject matter became a lot more appropriate and helped me through a few heartaches.
I’m currently suffering from a heartache of a different kind, one caused by the impending end of summer. Don’t get me wrong, I am super excited for fall. I love fall fashion and pumpkin spice everything, I’m just not ready to say goodbye to the warmer temps, long summer days and all the cool summer activities.

Though I will miss summer, it is time to start transitioning my looks, into something more fall appropriate and that is what I attempted with this look. This paper bag waist pants and t-shirt combo is still cool enough for the warm summer days yet warm enough when fall weather starts to creep in at night.
