What to wear to work in the Summer?

Since the start of phase two in New York, work hasn’t really slowed down for me at all. I’ve had tons of showing, meetings and appointments. The real estate market in NYC is definitely heating up but so is the weather. With temperatures hitting the high 80s and 90s, the heat is almost unbearable most days. One thing about me though is that even if it scorching outside, I still make it a point to look professional when meeting clients or colleagues.

So times dressing work appropriate isn’t the easiest thing when all you want to do is run around naked but I’m here to share a few looks that can keep you cool, stylish and work appropriate all at the same time. Heres my take on what to wear to work in the Summer.

Silky Button Down Top, Cropped Jeans and Sandals
Wearing a button down top is an instant way to make any look professional and the silky texture helps to keep you cool. Pairing it with a cool dark pair of cropped jeans and stylish sandals heels help to elevate the look even more.

White Vest and top, fitted jeans and lady like heels
This vest is great alternative to a full blazer and make look way more breathable. The dainty pointed heels make the otherwise casual jeans, seem more polished.

Theres no doubt about the fact that an all white look is definitely a summer staple. Wearing white helps keep you cool because it reflects some of the suns rains. This white collared button down dress is not only stylishly professional it’ll also a super easy option if you’re having a hard time figuring out what to wear in the morning.

Light Colored Suit with Cropped Pants and sandals
If wearing suits is your thing, try one thats bright or lightly colored and had cropped pants.
